Introducing Redwood: Oracle's Cutting-Edge User Experience
Oracle’s Fusion Cloud Application has undergone a significant transformation with the launch of the Redwood UX. This revolutionary change is set to redefine user experiences across various Oracle platforms, particularly impacting HCM and ERP users.
The new UI boasts enhanced user-friendliness, reducing the number of clicks required for simple functions and speeding up page loads. Additionally, automated journeys and generative AI will streamline processes, offering unprecedented efficiency. Crucially, all new features will be exclusively delivered through Redwood, incentivizing users to adopt the new interface. Furthermore, a simplified method for customising pages will empower users to tailor Oracle-delivered functionality to their specific requirements.
While all applications will eventually adopt the Redwood UX, the transition may vary in complexity. While some applications may require a simple switch, ERP and HCM modules will undergo phased updates across quarterly releases. HCM, in particular, will be the initial focus. Users will need to assess the impact on customisations, workflows, and processes, potentially retiring existing customisations now included in Redwood.
This release brings a plethora of new features, including various workflows seamlessly integrated into the Redwood experience. These include Change Assignment, Promote, Change Position, Employment, and Transfer processes – a welcome addition for Oracle users.
In essence, Redwood represents Oracle’s commitment to delivering a unified, mobile-friendly, and accessible user experience. With the promise of a consistent look and feel across all Oracle Cloud modules, Redwood is poised to revolutionize the way users interact with Oracle products. As we embark on this journey, now is the time to embrace the future of Oracle’s Cloud Applications with the Redwood UX.
