Modern Slavery Statement

Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Introduction

This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement sets out the steps taken by Advised Solutions, a UK-based consultancy specialising in Oracle ERP transformation projects, to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain during the financial year ending 2026. As a small business, we recognise our responsibility to act ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings, and we are committed to upholding the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Structure and Operations

Advises Solutions operates as a niche IT consultancy, employing fewer than 5 professionals and contractors. Our core business is the design and delivery of Oracle ERP transformations for clients across various industries. The bulk of our operations involves highly skilled, regulated professional services delivered by in-house staff and a small number of trusted contractors. Facilities and support functions, where used, are provided by reputable suppliers in the UK.

Policies and Due Diligence

We have adopted internal policies setting out clear expectations for ethical conduct and respect for human rights. All employees, associates, and suppliers are expected to comply with these standards, which reflect the values of our business. Advised Solutions does not tolerate slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking in any part of its operations or supply chain.

Due to our company size and the sector in which we operate, our supply chain is limited and comprises mainly professional services, technology vendors, and software licensors. We undertake due diligence on new suppliers and contractors, seeking assurances that they operate ethically and comply with all relevant UK legislation, including the Modern Slavery Act.

Risk Assessment

Although the risk of modern slavery in our direct business activities is low, we remain vigilant. Our engagement with Oracle and other major technology suppliers is governed by strict contractual requirements and codes of conduct. Most suppliers are established companies subject to UK legislation and regular compliance monitoring. Where we procure from smaller vendors or overseas contractors, we assess risks and seek additional assurances as appropriate.

Supplier Engagement

We expect all suppliers to maintain high ethical standards and to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking do not take place in their businesses or supply chains. Supplier contracts reference compliance with the Modern Slavery Act and relevant international standards. Any breach of these requirements is treated as grounds for terminating business relationships.

Reporting Concerns

All employees and associates are encouraged to report any concerns regarding unethical behaviour, including suspected breaches of human rights or incidents of modern slavery. Reports can be made confidentially and will be investigated promptly by senior management. No incidents of slavery or human trafficking were identified in our business or supply chain during the relevant financial year.

Training and Awareness

Given our small employee base, training is delivered directly by company management and incorporates guidance on ethical practices and how to recognise and report modern slavery risks. Modern slavery awareness is included in induction for new staff and in periodic internal communications.

Responsibility

Overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Modern Slavery Act rests with our company director. This statement has been approved and signed by Tobi Y. on behalf of Advised Solutions.
